and Our Philosophy
What Is The Behavior Toolbox?
We are an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company that specializes in Social Skills Group Therapy and Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI). Our therapeutic treatment approach puts great emphasis on developing the social and communication delays, often present in individuals who are diagnosed with autism and other related developmental disorders.
But that's not the only behavioral service in our toolbox...
We also provide behavior analytic services in the form of life skills training, individualized ABA therapy, parent/caregiver training, consultation services, and customized professional development training.
OUR TREATMENT APPROACH
What is doing ABA the social way?
Our therapeutic treatment is centralized around social communication and interaction delays because they are a core deficit for individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) related developmental disorders.
Learning how to overcome these delays can heavily influence their ability to develop and maintain meaningful relationships, which can ultimately improve their overall quality of life. As such, we focus on developing these delays in a socially enriched environment.
Our treatment programs consist of:
Social Skills Group Therapy with supplemental individualized Focused ABA Therapy and Parent/Caregiver Training
Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI), also know as Early Childhood Intervention (ECI), which is a comprehensive form of ABA Therapy treatment that is geared toward school readiness.
Social Skills Classes which focuses on providing natural contrived opportunities for social development.
Our therapy programs are designed to be implemented with Natural Environment Training (NET) techniques, as it enhances your child's ability to generalize any acquired skills and allows more opportunities for them to contact reinforcement within the natural environment.
Meet Our Founder
LaToya Mosby, M.S., BCBA, LBA
Founder and CEO of The Behavior Toolbox, LLC
Throughout my life, I’ve always had a desire to help others, and my eagerness to learn the best way that I could achieve this helped propel me to obtain my Master’s degree in Human Sciences from Prairie View A&M University.
Blessed with an opportunity to put my learned skills to work shortly after graduating in 2012, my career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) began as an in-home ABA therapist for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This experience inspired me to pursue becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). As such, I obtained my BCBA certification in 2017, and eventually decided to start my own practice, The Behavior Toolbox, LLC, in 2020.
Throughout my career, I’ve gained knowledge in providing ABA services to children, young adults and geriatric individuals with ASD, as well as other diagnoses including intellectual disabilities, Schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s, Bi-Polar Disorder, and General Anxiety Disorder. I am experienced in treating families and individuals who need support with Social and Adaptive Skills, Communication Delays, Challenging/Disruptive Behaviors, Parent Training, Social Groups, Comprehensive and Focused ABA Therapy, BCBA/BCaBA Supervision, and IEP Support/Consultations.
Helping others to become the best version of themselves is a strong passion of mine, and providing exceptional therapy that is socially significant to the individuals I work with makes every moment worth while!
Join us at The Behavior ToolBox, LLC, and let’s work towards improving the quality of your life one day at a time.
